The universally applicable, austenitic solid wire electrode from ESAB is ideal for joint welding (MIG / MAG welding at 100 - 300 A) on similar stabilised and non-stabilised CrNi steels. The welding wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm is heat-resistant up to approx. 800 °C and can be used up to 350 °C for wet corrosion. It is also tough at temperatures down to -196 °C and has good resistance to nitric acid. The solid wire is available with the shielding gases M12 or M13 for base materials such as 1.4301, 1.4306, 1.4541, 1.4550 and the like.
