These are traditionally made, serious wines that have great terroir integrity, where the vines are an average of 45 to 60 years old. Long fermentations and indigenous yeasts are par for the course.The Juliénas les Vignes Centenaires is from 100+ year-old vines in the la Bottière lieu-dit and undergoes a 15-day fermentation followed by 12 months in a mix of French oak.
