Pinot Noir 2018, Penruddocke's, A'Becketts Vineyard
Brand: A'Becketts Vineyard
Wonderful review by Jancis Robinson: 10/04/2020 "Pale, clear ruby. Fragrantly spicy juice on the palate. Wonderful fruit ! Sour cherries and red plums, sumac spice persisting through the spine. Slender, not an ounce of fat, and delicate sheer tannins. But it's so fresh. You could chill this a little. " Paul has been making Pinot Noir since 2004 and this is a cracker. “100% Pinot Noir grown in Wiltshire. The vineyard is between 65 m and 80 m above sea level and is planted on greensand with lower cretaceous chalk between 2–5 m below the surface. Five months of ageing in third-fill French oak barrels.
