This is another superb rug that I bought on my recent buying trip to Pakistan. A really fine example with wonderful colours and a nice sheen on the wool. As well as handmade, hand-knotted the pile of this rug is also cut by hand. The amount of skilled craftsmanship that goes into weaving - especially these larger carpets, has to be seen to be appreciated. This splendid rug measures 11 feet 3 inches long by 8 feet 10 inches wide. ( 3.41 x 2.69 metres ).
