They are suitable for root and joint welds for general structural steels, fine-grain structural steels and pressure vessel steels. They are characterized by high toughness and a yield point of 470 MPa. The TIG welding rods measure Ø 1.6 x 1,000 mm and are offered in packaging sizes of 5 kg. The TIG welding wire is made of Carbon-manganese steel and is coated with copper. Argon should be used as the shielding gas in TIG welding for the TIG rods in order to achieve optimal results for a permanently resilient connection. They melt very well as a filler material for the weld seam in TIG welding.
