This type of rug features the three basic types of hand weaving; kilim, soumak and knotting. The colours are typical of the type with deep warm reds, some orange and pink tones, as well as beige. The use of all the types of weaving give these unique pieces both depth and texture. They can be used as floor coverings, throws over furniture or for covering furniture or indeed making into cushions. This Tribal wool kilim measures 6 feet 5 inches long by 4 feet 10 inches wide. ( 1.96 x 1.47 metres ). Just arrived from our buying trip to Pakistan.
