There are twenty-four Biff, Chip & Kipper books from Stage 1 included in the pack. These are perfect for a child who is starting to put together simple words using letter sounds. There are five books with phonics activities. You play these like “I spy” - your child has to match the words with the pictures. There are twelve books that contain two stories. Each story has 8 pages, is preceded by activities, and followed by questions about the story. Finally, there are seven books that have one story 17 pages long, followed by questions to test their understanding. Twelve books are used to practice reading with phonics, and twelve are to broaden your child’s reading. This great value set will accompany you right through the first stage of the Read with Oxford programme. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and you’ll have a little fun on the way. From the publisher These 24 stories have been carefully levelled to support you and your child through the early stages of learning to read. 12 stories provide phonics-based reading practice, while 12 use everyday language to help broaden your child's wider reading experience. All the stories feature much-loved characters and humorous illustrations, as well as tips for reading together and fun activities.
