1.60m | 8 Step Truck Dock Steel Mobile Safety Stairs - Polyester Coated. Ideal for safely loading and unloading trucks & large lorries - shallower tread pitch than normal steps. Offers maximum safety and convenience - shallow descent angle of 48 degrees with 200mm tread rise for greatest safety when descending when load carrying & large platform with removable chains allowing access on 3 sides. Safe working load is a huge 300kg ( 47stones! ) and manufacture is conducted in an ISO9001 registered facility. Fully welded and assembled for instant use. Very large top platform 700mm wide x 1200mm long. Large punched steel treads 700mm wide x 200mm deep. Braked by the integral Ascent Safety Bar. This blocks access to stairs whilst mobile. When pushed back, the castors are automatically raised from the ground to stabilise the stair and allow access to the platform. Rubber tyred wheels fitted at the rear with swivelling castors at the front for easy manoeuvring. Coated in a very tough and attractive HI-VIZ YELLOW polyester-powder finish for long-lasting protection. Optional Blue, Red, Green, Grey colours on request.
