Electrode Welding Machine - 250 A - 230 V - IGBT - 60% duty cycle
Powerful IGBT inverter technology, compact design and simple-yet-precise operation are the advantages with which the electrode welding machine S-MMA-250-I from Stamos Germany excels. The long-lasting 250 A make the electrode welding machine not only suitable for welding in the workshop or on the factory floor, but also for mobile repair and maintenance work outdoors.
At a full 250 amps, the welder can achieve a duty cycle of 60 percent. If the power is reduced to 194 A, the duty cycle is increased to the point where you can weld without interruption. The MMA welding machine does not require shielding gas, so you can work precisely even under adverse conditions, such as in high winds.
The welding current can be smoothly and precisely set between 20 and 250 amps—and the dial allows you to do so even when wearing welding gloves. The large LED display where the selected parameters are clearly visible offers maximum control for precise welding results.
The welding machine enables you to correctly install and maintain railings, stairs, gates, doors, containers or metal machinery. With the MMA welder, you can weld materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, nickel or copper from 0.5 mm thick.
The electrode welder's hot start function ensures an automatic and short-term increase of the welding current at the start of the welding process. This hot start optimally and instantly heats the weld at the starting point, which prevents the electrode from sticking and guarantees stable and clean welding results from the first moment.
The air cooling and overheat protection (displayed next to the control knob) guarantee the long-lasting functional reliability of this MMA welder. The device can be used nearly anywhere that can be supplied with electricity via a socket with a 230 V / 1-phase connector. The welding machine is equipped with a shoulder strap for convenient transportation.
